Even-though the density of water in Periyar Lake is comparatively less, good number of visitors spotted for the Boating in Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary.

About Sijo :- One of the best person I have come across. He having in-depth working experience in Hotel and Hospitality industry. Born and brought up in Thekkady. In the past he worked in KTDC Aranya Nivas which is the only 03 Star Hotel inside Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary. So we visited that hotel also and met some of his past colleagues. One among them is Mr. Satheesh and he showed me the entire property with detailed description. Now Mr. Sijo is working in Leaf Resort Munnar

This is something very useful for the visitors. Authorities have given lots of information regarding the activities which are conducting in the tiger reserve. Brief description about all activities are given inside this information center. This is arranged in such a manner that the visitors can sit and relax for a while.

You can see the water level in Periyar boating area during summer season.. But still lots of visitors are coming here to have the wild life experience. Expecting some summer shower here and once the monsoon hits Kerala, Thekkady Wild Life Sanctuary boating will be in its full flow
